I grew up on a farm with horses and wanted my kids to experience the same joy and awe I had with being around these magnificent animals. When we moved to the Tetons I was thrilled to find Sierra and her wonderful horse camps. Sierra’s camps have a great mix of discipline and discovery. Working with horses requires awareness and safety and Sierra has great techniques for enabling the kids to interact with the horses whilst learning import skills in horse handling. This is a full immersion experience where kids do far more than just ride a horse. They learn how to catch, lead, handle, groom and feed the horses and all key skills of horsemanship. Also each child has chores to complete which helps them develop a sense of responsibility and achievement. I have watched my kids flourish in both confidence and independence whilst at Sierra’s horse camps.- Mandy Lowe
