Meet the Team

Sierra
Sierra grew up in Australia on a large cattle, sheep and horse farm. She showed horses most weekends in both English and Western events. She herded stock on the farm, travelled long distances to see her friends on horseback and trail rode in the legendary “Man From Snowy River” country where she grew up. She attended pony club, was a member at three fox hunting clubs, guided trail rides in GTNP and led pack trips through the Teton Range.
In 2010, Sierra started teaching horse riding and running summer horse camps, which she has successfully continues to do today. She has also owned and operated a dude ranch and renovated many properties into horse farms, some of which she has sold. Currently, Sierra has her breeding and training herds in Ririe, Idaho. She has her horse riding school and boarding facility in Victor, ID.
Sierra believes that horses have evolved to help humans learn heart based living. Horses are amazingly giving animals that have undeniably progressed the human species forward for thousands of years. Owning horses today is not a necessity as it has been in the near past; it is now a luxury. As we lose our partnership with horses, we lose our connection to nature. Sierra’s goals are to rebalance humans to the planet for the well being of all through this amazing creature; the horse!

Kelly
Kelly’s family homesteaded in the Teton region back in the late 1800s. Kelly has been a plumber and county commissioner as well as a part-time farmer for most of his life in Teton Valley. In his 20’s, he took a job as a plumber in Antarctica for a few years too! Kelly has two grown sons, and he has volunteered to coach children’s basketball for many years. He is an avid horse breeder, trainer, and loves teaching kids about horses and ranching.
